I work mainly on science fiction and history of colonial science. For my articles on science fiction, I have won the 2017 Foundation Essay Prize, I have been the Honorable Mention for the IAFA Jamie Bishop Award 2016, and I have also won the Strange Horizons Readers' Poll Award 2013.

I am currently SAMKUL Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Culture Studies, University of Oslo. I serve as Editor-in-Chief for Fafnir: Nordic Journal of Science Fiction and Fantasy Research. Learn more here: FAFNIR
